LIROS enters the german project for the participation in „The Ocean Race 2021/22“ and rigs the „GER 21“ with all sheets, straighteners and halyards for the world race.

Sven Rosenberger conciders the partnership with the Offshore Team Germany as an ideal platform for presenting the company in sailing sports, as well as the prosecution of a grown partnership with OTG team captain Robert Stanjek.

The demands on the ropes are tremendous: they should offer best hold in cleats, be very flexible, have maximum break load and minimal stretch and abrasion.

The maxims of the collaboration are performance, safety and reliability. Especially a smooth run of the ropes are paramount. Sven Rosenberger: "It would be fatal when something sticks while sailing the Antarctic Ocean. We will optimise our products for the Ocean Race in intensive cooperation with the team in the upcoming months. Because practise shows how the laboratory's developments prove.“
